It's rare when I'm not in a good mood. I try to keep a good outlook on everything, why be stropping when you don't have to be? But one thing put me into a bit of a strop. Getting a slime shower when I all want are pancakes in the Great Hall. Honestly, what was Peeves' problem? Throwing things for no reason. It was very disheartening, and I will go back to my old system of eating the food I bring from home out of my trunk. Giribaldies are very good in the morning, as are poptarts.
The weather is starting to turn, and it's getting cooler. I love the cool weather, and the leaves turning. That is always nice, I love all the colours. I'm going to start on my knitting now, since the weather is getting to be knitting weather. I want to knit my brother a scarf. I do tend to knit loads of scarves, they are quite easy. Maybe I'll knit a beret as well, I love berets. And scarves, and leaves. Keep a good outlook on things. Not going to let anything spoil my blissfully temperate mood.
That quidditch game was quite exciting. Lots of action, some not so good action as well. I hope everyone recovers nicely though.
My da just sent the little striped tee shirt I ordered for my cat to me. It was nice of him to take time out of his day, he's rather busy, midterms exams for muggles this week, to send my tee shirt. I hope Dylan likes it, he can be a bit fussy at time.

I really like the fall ball, I think might actually be my favourite of all the balls to be honest. I'm going to start working on a new dress for it, and hope I have time to finish. Rather than just go half naked if I don't. I wouldn't do that, I just thought it was rather funny to say. But in all honesty, I like the colours, and I have an excused to make a crown of red and orange leaves to wear in my hair. I have a lot of work to get done it seems if I want to make this happen by the dance.
I've actually been working on painting my school trunk. It has ponies, and a pathway on it. The paint is white, and I have it left over from another project. I took a picture of it, it's the grandest thing I've done. Most of my stuff is small, or it's just sewing projects. I feel very accomplished when I look at it, and I'm going to drag it out into the common room for Colin to see.

The last boy I snogged, or shagged, I can't really remember, from home sent me a lovely letter through my parents. I think he would think it would be a bit weird communicating through owls, seeing as he doesn't like birds, and just uses the post on regular occasions. I like the giribaldi biscuits he sent, they're my favourites. Currents in them, I'm going to save them for tea tomorrow. Tea is rather nice yeah?
It's still warm and lovely, warm enough to do yoga outside. Yoga keeps you very relaxed and flexible. I'm going to bring my mat out there tomorrow and do some yoga down by the lake. You're all welcome to join me if you like.
I have sewing to do, and a crown to make, I should probably get started on that.

I really love the autumn season. It's just so lovely, all those colours, heart colours. Reds, and oranges, and golds. It's never too cold when you go outdoors, and you can wear all your jumpers. I'm knitting a new jumper for the fall, it's red, and I'm going to put toggles buttons on it. Long enough to wear with tights, and short enough where it doesn't look like a tent. I love drawing, or making jewellry, but I don't love anything like I love knitting. The feeling of the string through your fingers, and the end result of needles and yarn. It amazes me that you can create something so substantial. It's quite lovely.
I love summer though as well, I don't play favourites with the seasons. Summer is warm, and you have so much free time. I've made five dresses this summer, all by hand. I never use magic when I work on my stuff. At least twenty necklaces, maybe more. I gave a whole bunch to my mum, and she seems to love them. I like to go to work with my mum, she's a librarian. I read all the artists' biographies, and then moved onto all the art history books. I was into the fashion history books when we had to come back to school. When we go home for the Christmas hols, I'm going to pick them back up. I want to read the entire art/fashion section by seventh year.
Prefect rounds relax me. I love walking around the school when everyone is in bed. The castle seems very big when the halls are empty.
